Virus Corona Swallow 120 Victim Die
Virus Corona Swallow 120 Victim Die, and Thousand Infected. China uses drugs for the HIV virus as a temporary treatment for patients infected with the corona virus.
Medical officials are now trying to find a drug for patients infected with the corona virus.
The Chinese National Health Commission (NHC) says a combination of the drugs lopinavir and ritonavir, sold under the Kaletra brand from AbbVie, is used to treat patients infected with the corona virus. The virus from Wuhan, Hubei Province has now killed 120 people in China and infected 2,000 in other countries.
Bloomberg page reported, although no effective drug has yet been found, NHC recommends patients be given two tablets of lopinavir and ritonavir twice a day and one dose of alpha-interpheron through nebulisation twice a day.
The Lancet medical journal two days ago said medical trials using ritonavir and lopinavir to treat cases of the corona virus were ongoing. Global Times media reported that the China Center for Disease Control and Prevention is now developing a vaccine for the corona virus.
Wang Guangfa, a breathing expert from Peking University Hospital in Beijing who was affected by the virus after visiting Wuhan to examine infected patients, told China News Week this week, doctors advised him to take an HIV drug to fight the corona virus and succeed for him.
The Chinese government continues to tackle the spread of the Corona Wuhan virus. Now, the country is accelerating the construction of hospitals specifically for patients with this mysterious disease.
Quoted from the Xinhua website, the hospital is currently being built on an area of 25 thousand square meters. Dozens of dredging machines work together on the land.
The hospital will later have 1,000 patient beds for isolated and efficient treatment for Wuhan Corona virus patients.
The location of the hospital is still in Wuhan, or precisely in the Caidian District, west of Wuhan. The idea of developing this hospital came from experience when the SARS virus broke out in the early 2000s.
